Application Tips
Review the Before You Begin section of the AMCAS website. This section offers an overview of what you need to know before starting the primary application. There is also an Applicant Guide that covers the process from start to finish.
Ensure we can contact you by signing up with an email address you check regularly. The bulk of our applicant communication is via email. We strongly recommend providing an email separate from your academic institution.
Begin your AMCAS application early and allow yourself plenty of time to complete it. The application can be time-consuming, and verification can take 6-8 weeks during peak season.
MU CFVH does not receive applications until they have been verified by AMCAS. We encourage applicants to check their status regularly to ensure smooth processing.
Review your AMCAS application carefully. Your ability to make changes post-submission is severely limited.
AMCAS Documents
Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions at which you have attempted coursework.
Letters of recommendation. MU CFVH requires one committee packet or three letters of recommendation. AMCAS will allow you to enter up to 10 letters; additional letters do not affect your admissions review.
